Why should you care about reading a social media manager’s blog? How will it help you with your business + marketing strategy? Will I only be writing blog posts that tell you how to make your social media accounts better (spoiler alert: the answer is no—I have some really fun lifestyle content planned, too!) Keep reading, and I’ll dive into all these questions. I’m giving you a guide for success on social media and spilling the tea as a Social Media Manager!

Bear with me…

As an English major, I wrote a LOT in college (I counted one semester, and had 40 essays/papers due. Makes me queasy just thinking about it). I’ve done some freelance writing since I graduated, but haven’t written anything consistently.

So, bear with me while I wait for muscle memory to kick in and cross my fingers that I haven’t forgotten how to do this!

What’s the Madelyn Victoria Co Blog about?

Of course, I’ll be sharing lots of social media tips and tricks and ways you can market your business online. But I’ll also be sharing some lifestyle + travel content, too. (We have a fun trip to New England planned this fall, so get ready to read about allll my best recs and our favorite spots for “leaf peeping.”)

In short, I want this blog to be more than just a social media manager telling you what you should do. My goal is for it to be a place where you can come to get information on how to improve your brand’s visibility AND be a place for you to come for entertainment + encouragement.

Why start a Social Media Manger blog?

Short answer: Because I missed writing, and I thought it would be a great way to connect with you guys and share what I’ve learned.

Long answer: Stick around for a bit, and you’ll see, *wink wink*

Is this a good idea?

I’m planning to switch between social media marketing tips and lifestyle content. Whether it’s info about a new Instagram trend, a helpful travel itinerary, an easy coffee recipe I’ve tried, a hiking spot you should check out, or a glimpse into my health + fitness journey, I hope you find something that will help you in your own life!

Hitting the “publish” button on this first post is the equivalent of “no take-backsies” for me, so get ready for some fun content coming your way!

So, what do you think? What would you like to see on here? Let me know!

so hot right now

Not sure if you're ready for full management? Start with the free audit.

I'll personally review your Instagram profile and send back a keyword-optimized bio, three content ideas you can post this week, and hook ideas for your next IG reel.

(It takes less than 3 minutes to sign up!)

You didn't build a six-figure business to spend your nights editing Instagram reels.

You had every intention of getting content done this week.

But then a client needed something, then the proposal, then school pickup ran long, and suddenly it's Thursday, and you've posted twice, one of them was a quote graphic. Aaand you're already behind on next week.

The Sunday batch session you promised yourself didn't happen (again). Meanwhile your website still says what you wrote two years ago, your email list hasn't heard from you in weeks, and your Instagram doesn't reflect the business you're actually running anymore.

You don't have a motivation problem, but a capacity problem. There are only so many hours in a day! And at some point, every growing business needs to solve that differently.

Stop me if you've heard this before.
